Accessibility
What this site does to stay usable by keyboard, with a screen reader or without a mouse, and where to report what gets in the way.
What is in place
Each page declares its language. Each page has a single main heading and a consistent heading order. Every image carries alternative text. The five navigation regions are named, and a “Skip to main content” link is the first keyboard stop on every page. The focus outline stays visible on links and buttons. The contact form has labels, browser autocomplete, and its submission status is announced to assistive technology. Motion is reduced when the system asks for it.
What is checked on every change
An automated test suite replays these points (keyboard focus, announcements, reduced motion, accessible names) on every change to the site, so a fix elsewhere cannot undo them silently. The criteria followed are those of WCAG 2.1.
Known limits
The calculators and the blog are built by the browser. Without JavaScript, a page shows its title and introduction but not the tool or the article list.
Report a problem
If a page blocks you, write to [email protected] with the page and what does not work. The problem will be looked at, and the content sent to you another way in the meantime if needed.
